Job description

At Side, we believe everyone should own their path.    Side is a real estate startup that pioneered the concept of brokerage-as-a-service to help top real estate professionals create and run their own companies without having to operate a brokerage. Our proprietary platform makes the real estate transaction process far more efficient for both agents and home buyers/sellers.   Before Side, exceptional real estate agents had two choices: You could join an antiquated traditional brokerage, relinquish control of your business, and pay hefty fees for marginal value. Or you could start your own independent brokerage, massively increase your liability, and take on the burden of running your own back office. We created a third option: Own your own business and run it on the Side platform. Agents get to focus on what they do best — selling real estate — while Side operates in the background to facilitate their transactions, and help them grow.    Side is led by experienced industry professionals and world-class engineers who develop technology designed to improve agent productivity and enhance the client experience. The company is backed by over $300 million in funding from top-tier venture capital firms, including Coatue, Tiger, D1, Sapphire, Trinity, and Matrix. Headquartered in San Francisco, Side currently operates in 16 states, with plans to expand nationwide in the coming years. We were named Company of the Year by Inman News (the leading industry publication) and a Most Innovative Company of 2022 by Fast Company.   At Side, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate and innovate your way to success.  Becoming an inSider means that you’ll be empowering business leaders to become business owners, all while forging your own path with like-minded entrepreneurs. Join us at Side and own your career, your impact, and your life! About the Role:   We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. This role is at the forefront of our growth efforts, responsible for generating and nurturing opportunities with top-producing real estate agents and teams nationwide. You’ll focus on booking high-quality intro calls for our sales team, strengthening referral activity from our existing agent community and driving attendance to Side events. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to break into sales at a fast-growing real estate and technology company, with exposure to some of the most successful agents in the industry. What You’ll Do:
  • Generate & Qualify Leads: Book intro meetings for our sales team by engaging with high-potential agents through outbound outreach (calls, emails, social media, and networking).
  • Foster Community Referrals: Build strong relationships with our existing community of Side partners and help drive referral opportunities from their networks.
  • Drive Event Engagement: Proactively reach out to top-producing agents and industry leaders to secure attendance at Side-hosted events, activations, and experiences.
  • Pipeline Support: Maintain a steady pipeline of qualified prospects for Account Executives by conducting research, prospecting, and qualification.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and Sales to align outreach efforts with campaigns, events, and strategic priorities.
  • High-Volume Outreach: Commit to a daily activity target of 75+ phone touches, in addition to email and social outreach, to maintain a steady pipeline of opportunities.
  • CRM Excellence: Accurately track and report all activities, leads, and opportunities in our CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot).
    • What We’re Looking For:
  • Hybrid in San Francisco. Expectation is 3 days onsite per week.
  • 2+ years of sales, business development, recruiting, or customer-facing experience (real estate industry experience is a plus, but not required).
  • Strong communication skills — both written and verbal — with the ability to engage and influence top professionals.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, positive attitude and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach and building relationships over phone, email, and social platforms.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Passion for real estate, entrepreneurship, and helping agents grow their businesses.

    • Listing collected from the employer’s public career site on 2026-10-23. Postings close without notice — the application page is authoritative.
