- Work Environment: The GE Aerospace facility in McAllen is one of our centers of expertise specializing in the repair of engine components used in commercial and military aircraft. Essential Responsibilities:
- Read work orders, formulas, and processing charts to determine specifications and sequence of operations.
- Weigh and measure specified ingredients and binding agents.
- Mix and grind materials.
- Load and unload parts, monitor operations, and adjust controls of various processing machines and equipment to prepare, combine, or alter materials to achieve specific component properties.
- Clean materials as required before processing operations.
- Inspect, measure, and test components to ensure they meet specifications.
- Enclose components in housings and stamp or etch identifying information on finished components.
- Count, sort, and weigh processed items.
- Maintain accurate manual or computerized records of production and inspection data.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out, reporting safety concerns, using appropriate PPE, and following all safety practices.
- Ensure all products meet quality assurance standards.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English, with the ability to interpret and follow written procedures (e.g., AWI), complete documentation, and follow verbal instructions.
- Must pass physical, background, and drug screenings.
- This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.

- At least 1 year of experience and/or training in a related manufacturing or production environment.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and identify process improvements.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate effectively with others.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
